Gambit Robotics, Inc. is building intelligent robotic systems that bring embodied AI into the kitchen. We’re hiring an AI / Computer Vision Engineer to develop the perception stack for real-world kitchen robotics, moving from prototype to deployment.

You will design and evaluate vision models, build robust data pipelines, and collaborate with robotics and systems teams to deploy models on hardware, with equity and comprehensive health coverage offered.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with modern computer vision, machine learning, or robotics perception.
• Fluency in Python and practical experience training and evaluating models.
• Clear communication and a bias toward hands-on experimentation.

A hands-on role building the systems that move intelligence into the physical world.

Role Description

As an AI / Computer Vision Engineer, you’ll develop the perception stack that helps our robotic systems understand ingredients, tools, workspaces, and the changing state of a real kitchen.

RESPONSABILITIES

Design and evaluate computer vision models for real-world robotic tasks. Build robust data pipelines and model evaluation workflows. Partner with robotics and systems teams to deploy models on hardware.

qualifications

Strong experience with modern computer vision, machine learning, or robotics perception. Fluency in Python and practical experience training and evaluating models. Clear communication and a bias toward hands-on experimentation.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with multimodal models, simulation, or edge deployment. Familiarity with manipulation, sensor fusion, or robotics data collection.
