Job summary

Normal Computing is seeking a Hardware System Design Engineer to lead the system architecture for AI compute hardware from concept to deployment. You will collaborate across hardware, software, and external partners to ensure high-performance, scalable rack-scale systems.

You will translate workloads into hardware decisions and drive bring-up, validation, and key architecture tradeoffs across boards, chassis, and networking for a cohesive system.

Qualifications

• Significant experience architecting complex compute hardware systems.
• Experience taking hardware systems from requirements through deployment.
• Experience collaborating with ODMs, suppliers, and hardware partners to drive technical resolutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware system architecture from concept to production deployment.
• Translate workload and performance requirements into hardware decisions with cross-functional teams.
• Lead architecture design across boards, chassis, racks, power, cooling, and networking.
• Define bring-up, integration, validation, and qualification strategies.
