Job summary

Meta's Manufacturing Quality Engineering team is building the infrastructure that powers AI at a global scale.

As a Product Quality Engineer on the Hardware Engineering team, you will drive the manufacturing readiness plan for advanced compute and GPU platforms and partner with design engineers and global manufacturing partners to ensure Meta's hardware meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field.
• Experience in program and project management for complex hardware from NPI to high-volume production.
• Hands-on testing/validation of compute and GPU systems; hardware architecture knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Drive manufacturing metrics (yield, throughput, cycle time, first-pass yield) across NPI and MP phases.
• Develop and validate manufacturing and test requirements for advanced compute and GPU systems from NPI through MP.
• Evaluate and improve test coverage and infrastructure for reliability and performance at scale.
• Lead hardware debugging and root-cause analysis (FACA) to meet yield targets.
• Travel internationally to supplier sites up to 25% to manage hardware validation and partnerships.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on power optimizations and performance tuning.
• Support transition from prototype to high-volume manufacturing and resolve design/test issues.
