Job summary

Hyperbolic Labs in San Francisco is seeking a Head of Finance to lead capital raises for our Open-Access AI Cloud compute supply. You’ll architect debt facilities, coordinate lender negotiations, and present to our credit committee.

This builder’s role requires closing first-of-kind structures and aligning contracts with financeability. In the first year you’ll map the lender universe, push term sheets, and set the foundation for scalable capital to support capacity growth across facilities and

Qualifications

• 5+ years in capital markets, corporate development, or institutional fundraising.
• Experience raising institutional capital from LPs for PE/VC/hedge funds.
• Debt markets experience: DCM, leveraged/structured finance, private capital markets.
• Existing lender relationships in AI infrastructure space.

Responsibilities

• Originate and structure debt capital to fund vendor down payments and capacity.
• Own lender and investor relationships end to end, from positioning to docs.
• Negotiate covenants, lien priority, and borrowing base terms.
• Coordinate debt and equity rounds to avoid conflicting terms.
• Post-close lender reporting and compliance; ensure financeability of contracts.
