Job summary

World Wide Technology is seeking a Domain Architect - AI Compute to lead the technical authority for GPU compute fleets and day‑to‑day operations across client environments. You will bridge architectural design with hands‑on execution, configuring clusters from the CLI and communicating with C‑level stakeholders.

The role emphasizes delivering high‑performance AI infrastructure, pre‑sales SME support, and defining scalable reference architectures.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in HPC/AI or data center infra engineering, including 7+ years in a customer-facing architecture role.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Deep knowledge of NVIDIA GPU platforms (Hopper/Blackwell) and the CUDA software stack.
• Strong Linux systems engineering skills, with kernel tuning and driver management.
• Automation knowledge with Ansible and Python; IaC experience with Terraform is a plus.
• Proven ability to translate technical architecture into commercial outcomes for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the provisioning of GPU platforms and clusters, including reference architectures.
• Use NVIDIA Base Command Manager for cluster provisioning, image management, and firmware lifecycle management.
• Harden and baseline the host operating system across the fleet.
• Establish cluster monitoring with NVIDIA Mission Control and implement zero-touch provisioning workflows.
• Define fair-share policies, MIG, and preemption for multi-tenant environments; ensure NUMA and PCIe topology awareness.
• Implement schedulers: Slurm on bare metal, Run:ai, Kueue or Volcano on Kubernetes.
• Lead day-2 operations and integration with client identity providers and storage backends.
• Support pre-sales scope and LOE estimates; define standard operating environments for proposals.
• Own BOM validation and alignment with DGX/HGX/MGX/NVL72 architectures.
• Lead client workshops to determine workload requirements for ML, LLM, and visualization workloads.
