A leading company is seeking a Mid-Senior level Chatbot Developer to enhance employee productivity through AI-powered solutions. This role involves developing and maintaining chatbots, implementing scalable AI frameworks, and collaborating with leadership to align technical solutions with business goals. Strong AI development experience, particularly in Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT, is required. The position offers the opportunity to work remotely while supporting EST hours.

Job description

Employment Type: Contract or Contract-to-Hire

Duration: 6 Month Contract, potential for conversion to FTE

Preferred Location: Remote, ability to work EST hours

Role Description:

• Develop, implement, and maintain AI-powered chatbots (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, private GPT models) to enhance employee productivity.
• Provide hands-on coding expertise for chatbot solutions, including automation of basic workplace functions.
• Design a scalable and sustainable AI framework to support long-term chatbot deployment and evolution.
• Work closely with leadership to translate business needs into functional AI solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Train team members on chatbot functionalities, best practices, and continuous improvement strategies.
• Gather feedback and refine AI models over time to enhance performance and usability.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with AI Chatbot development, with some of that experience being with Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT development
• Experience working with large scale models
• Strong understanding of AI deployment tools and frameworks, particularly in enterprise environments.
• Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and leadership.
• Ability to explain AI capabilities, limitations, and strategic benefits to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to coach/advise end users on prompt engineering

Plus:

• Hands-on experience with Azure AI or similar cloud-based AI platforms (a plus).
