Job summary

Appnovation is seeking an AI / Agent Engineer to build MCP servers and tools, design graph-RAG pipelines, and enable multi-LLM access within our platform. You will transform documents into agent-friendly representations and work closely with product, data, and QA in an agile environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in software engineering with AI/ML or LLM experience, strong Python, and hands-on LLM development, including MCP server construction and RAG systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with AI/ML or LLM work.
• Strong Python and hands-on LLM development.
• Experience building MCP servers, tools, and skills.
• Experience with RAG, graph-RAG, vector databases.
• Familiarity with graph data stores (Neo4j), CI/CD.
• Strong problem-solving and communication in a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve MCP servers, tools, and skills exposing the platform to multiple LLMs.
• Design and refine graph-RAG pipelines transforming documents into agent representations of facts and relationships.
• Implement retrieval across multi-tier architectures and temporal replay.
• Collaborate with QA on eval-driven improvements to answer quality and factual grounding.
• Write clean, tested production-grade code and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with product, data, and QA in an agile/sprint model.
• Document designs, prompts, and tool interfaces for maintainability and handover.
• Monitor deployed agents/models and iterate on performance.
