Job summary

GrowthAssistant is hiring an AI Automation Specialist to partner with internal teams, diagnose adoption gaps, and translate findings into actionable feedback for the development team. You’ll drive tool fluency, enablement, and adoption tracking in a fully remote setting.

You will work with cross-functional stakeholders, track usage, and close the loop after fixes, while leveraging AI tools to improve processes and outcomes across the organization.

Qualifications

• Sharp critical thinking to uncover underlying problems from vague feedback.
• Clear written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to start conversations and drive follow-through without reminders.
• Hands-on comfort with AI tools and understanding of tool behavior.
• Ability to write concise notes, summaries, and quick-reference guides.

Responsibilities

• Meet with internal teams to discover issues with AI tools and adoption.
• Diagnose whether low usage is due to tools, workflows, training or habits.
• Provide structured feedback for the development team to act on.
• Follow up after changes ship to confirm impact and adoption.
• Build tool fluency and test AI tools to distinguish broken from confusing.
• Run short walkthroughs and create quick-reference guides for teams.
• Track adoption and flag stalled or never-started usage by teams.
• Support the CTO with conversations, notes, and check-ins.

The Opportunity

We’re hiring an AI Automation Specialist for a fast-growing mobile app marketing and performance advertising company — sitting down with internal teams using new AI tools, diagnosing why adoption stalls, and turning what you learn into clear, structured feedback the development team can act on.

What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

• User Discovery: Sit down with internal teams using new AI tools and find out what’s actually happening — where they get stuck, what they skip, what they never opened.
• Diagnosis: Work out whether low usage is a tool problem, a workflow problem, a training gap, or habit — and say which.
• Structured Reporting: Write up what users say in a clear, structured format the development team can act on.
• Closing the Loop: Follow up after a fix or change ships and confirm whether it landed.
• Tool Fluency: Learn each tool well enough to test it and tell the difference between broken and confusing.
• Enablement: Run short walkthroughs and write quick-reference guides for teams that need them.
• Adoption Tracking: Track which teams are using what and flag where usage has stalled or never started.
• Executive Support: Keep follow-ups moving for the CTO — the conversations, notes, and check-ins he doesn’t have time for.

What You Bring

• Critical Thinking: Sharp critical thinking — can hear three vague complaints and find the real problem underneath.
• Communication: Clear written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical people alike.
• Initiative: Comfortable starting conversations with people who didn’t ask for the meeting.
• Follow-Through: Organized follow-through — tracks open threads and closes them without reminders.
• AI Fluency: Day-to-day use of AI tools such as LLM chat tools, agents, or internal copilots.
• Concise Writing: Writes concisely — notes, summaries, and short guides people will actually read.

Bonus Points if:

• You have conversational or professional Mandarin (strongly preferred, but open to strong candidates without it) — this lets feedback reach the development team without a translation step.
• You have marketing or mobile app marketing experience.
• You have enough technical background to follow an engineering conversation.
• You have a background in enablement, support, QA, product, or user research.
