Job description

The AI & Automation Architect is responsible for designing intelligent, scalable solutions that strengthen how our business operates. This role focuses on understanding Eagle’s end‑to‑end processes, identifying where automation and AI can meaningfully reduce manual workload, and architecting systems that improve accuracy, speed, and cross‑department efficiency.

Rather than simply deploying AI tools, the Architect evaluates how data, workflows, integrations, and existing platforms should work together to support operational excellence. This position partners closely with Sales, Operations, HR, Finance, procurement, and Technology leadership to modernize processes, eliminate inefficiencies, and build an automation ecosystem that aligns with our business goals and long‑term growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities
Business Process Architecture

  • Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and automation opportunities using data‑driven analysis.
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements and solution designs.
  • Automation framework design using AI, RPA, workflow engines, APIs, and integrations.
  • Evaluate when AI is appropriate versus traditional automation or system optimization.
  • Develop scalable automation roadmaps aligned with organizational goals.
Systems & Data Integration
  • Integration architecture connecting CRM, ERP, HRIS, and other enterprise systems.
  • Design data flows that ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across platforms.
  • Partner with IT to implement middleware, APIs, and automation pipelines.
Solution Development & Implementation
  • Lead the design, prototyping, and deployment of automation solutions.
  • Oversee testing, validation, and documentation of new workflows and integrations.
  • Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and data governance standards.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Work with department leaders to understand operational challenges and define automation priorities.
  • Provide guidance on change management, adoption strategies, and process redesign.
  • Train teams on new workflows and automation capabilities.
Governance & Continuous Improvement
  • Establish automation standards, best practices, and documentation.
  • Monitor performance of deployed solutions and optimize as needed.
  • Stay current on emerging AI, automation, and integration technologies.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Process Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in automation architecture, business process engineering, or enterprise systems integration.
  • Strong understanding of workflow design, process mapping, and operational analysis.
  • Hands‑on experience with automation technologies (RPA, workflow engines, AI/ML platforms, API integrations).
  • Knowledge of data architecture, ETL processes, and system interoperability.
  • Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions with clear ROI.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with non‑technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with CRM/ERP platforms (Salesforce, NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Familiarity with AI orchestration tools, LLM integration, and automation frameworks.
  • Background in operations‑heavy industries (logistics, manufacturing, SaaS, healthcare).
  • Certification in BPM, automation platforms, or enterprise architecture.
  • Strategic thinking
  • Systems mindset
  • Change leadership
Success Indicators
  • Improved data accuracy and system interoperability.
  • Increased automation adoption and user satisfaction.
