Job summary

Saggi solutions is seeking an AI Architect to design and implement an AI-driven software development lifecycle using AI agents, specification-driven development, reverse engineering, and forward engineering.

Work will define end-to-end governance, automation for spec-to-code and spec-to-test, and evaluation of agentic platforms such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and Azure AI. This is a remote role near Troy, Michigan, with opportunities to drive enterprise AI adoption.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in software architecture and AI.
• Experience with generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, and agentic AI.
• AI-assisted software engineering and SDLC automation.
• Enterprise application architecture and security knowledge.
• Technical experience with .NET or Java, Angular or React, APIs, SQL, Python, and Azure or other cloud platforms.
• CI/CD, DevOps, automated testing, prompt and context engineering, and LLM evaluation.
• Preferred: experience developing an AI SDLC or agentic engineering framework.
• Preferred: legacy modernization and AI-based parity and validation.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement an end-to-end AI SDLC framework covering requirements, development, testing, validation, and deployment.
• Develop AI-driven reverse-engineering processes to analyze existing applications, code, databases, APIs, UI, and business rules.
• Establish Specification-Driven Development practices guiding architecture, code, tests, and documentation.
• Design AI agent workflows for architecture, coding, SQL/data modeling, APIs, UI, testing, code review, and validation.
• Implement AI-assisted forward engineering turning requirements into production-ready components.
• Establish automated specification-to-code and specification-to-test processes with traceability and validation.
• Define governance, security, quality gates, and human review for AI-generated artifacts.
• Evaluate and integrate agentic development platforms like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Azure AI, and OpenAI.

Salary: $103,000 - 143,000 per year

Requirements:

• 12+ years of overall experience, including strong hands-on expertise in software architecture and AI.
• Experience with generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, and agentic AI.
• Experience in AI-assisted software engineering and SDLC automation, reverse and forward engineering, and Specification-Driven Development.
• Enterprise application architecture experience and knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and enterprise security.
• Technical experience with .NET or Java, Angular or React, APIs, SQL, Python, and Azure or other cloud platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, automated testing, prompt and context engineering, and LLM evaluation.
• Preferred: Experience developing an AI SDLC or agentic engineering framework from proof of concept through enterprise adoption.
• Preferred: Experience with legacy modernization and AI-based application parity and validation.
