Job summary

Vidorra Consulting Group is seeking a senior AI/ML engineer to design, develop, and deploy advanced AI models for business needs in San Jose. You will research emerging AI/ML technologies and collaborate with data engineers and software teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

You will evaluate performance, fine-tune models for scalability, and mentor junior engineers while communicating complex results to stakeholders. Experience across Azure/OpenAI, LLMs, and production pipelines is desired.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in AI/ML/deep learning model development with cloud platforms.
• 2–3+ years hands-on with LLMs, NLP, or speech/voice AI in production.
• 3–5+ years designing, training, and fine-tuning LLMs or AI models; real-time voice pipelines.
• 2+ years with agentic AI frameworks and multi-agent orchestration.
• Experience with model evaluation metrics, bias detection, and optimization.
• 5+ years integrating AI models into apps via APIs/pipelines.
• Proficient in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow or similar frameworks.
• 2–3 years in Azure AI Speech/Translator, Azure OpenAI, AI Search, etc.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s in CS/AI/DS; strong math/stats; ML/DL/NLP coursework preferred.
• Preferred: advanced LLM techniques, prompt engineering, and LLMOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced AI models to meet business requirements; research new AI/ML technologies.
• Evaluate performance, fine-tune and ensure scalability; collaborate with data engineers and software teams.
• Explain AI concepts to diverse stakeholders; mentor junior engineers and review code/models.
• Identify bottlenecks; troubleshoot deployment or integration challenges proactively.
• Analyze data patterns and model outputs to derive actionable insights; optimize pipelines.
• Present complex model results concisely; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Provide feedback and mentorship; engage in Agile/Scrum projects with Jira/Azure DevOps.
• Provide regular proactive updates and due diligence in carrying out responsibilities.
