Job summary

Aegis AI Security, composed of ex-Google engineers, is building a new frontier in threat detection by orchestrating a constellation of AI agents that work together to detect and stop adversarial threats.

As a senior engineer, you'll own the end-to-end stack from model selection to deployment, adapting rapidly to evolving attacks and delivering fast, high-precision results in a fast-moving security landscape.

We’re a team of ex-Google engineers who built some of the largest defensive platforms on the planet — Safe Browsing and reCAPTCHA. Now, we’re striking out on our own to tackle an even bigger challenge: stopping the new wave of adversarial AI attacks already hitting organizations today.

We’re going after a $5B+ market, ripe for disruption. Traditional detection methods are too slow to keep up. Adversaries are using AI to craft customized, high-evasion attacks — and old-school rules-based systems don’t stand a chance.

Your Mission:

Architect a constellation of AI Agents — fast, cheap, and high-precision — that work together to detect and stop emerging threats. Your job is to create the orchestration layer to enable a heterogenous set of agents to collaborate to investigate threats. You’ll also be Aegis’ resident expert model selection, customization and strategy. You should have deep hands on experience quantizing, pruning, distilling, serving and orchestrating models at scale.
