Job summary

Apptad Inc is seeking an AI Architect in Houston, TX to lead AI strategy and solutioning across enterprise stakeholders. You will leverage Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Studio, Fabric, Copilot Studio, and Power Platform to design scalable AI architectures and governance models.

You will guide PoCs, MVPs and business cases, and collaborate with IT and business teams to implement AI-enabled transformations in data, analytics, and operations.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience with Microsoft AI ecosystem and cloud AI services.
• Strong cloud architecture knowledge including AI deployment patterns and integrations.
• Ability to shape AI use cases, PoCs, MVPs and enterprise AI architectures.
• Solid data and analytics foundation (data warehousing, lakes, governance).
• Understanding of AI governance and security requirements.
• Oil & gas industry exposure and awareness of Supply Chain, Finance, HR, Manufacturing ops is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise on GenAI adoption, governance, and enterprise AI roadmaps.

Role: AI Architect

Location: Houston, TX

Duration: Full Time (FTE)

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:

• Must have experience with Microsoft AI Ecosystem: Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Studio, Azure AI Search, Microsoft Fabric, Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Power Platform, Power Automate, Microsoft Data Stack, Purview, Entra ID.
• Well versed with Cloud Architecture. Must have good understanding on Cloud-native AI architectures, AI deployment patterns, Enterprise integrations, API enablement, Microservice on Azure or AWS Architecture.
• Capable to solution AI Architecture, should independently be able to shape AI Use Cases, PoCs, MVPs, Business Cases, Enterprise AI Architectures, Value Realization Models
• Good understanding on Data and Analytics: Data Warehousing, Data Lake, Data Governance, Data engineering, Real time Analytics on tools like Fabric, Synapse, Data Bricks or Snowflake.
• Good understanding of AI Governance and Security
• Preferably from Oil and Gas industry with understanding on Business Processes like Supply Chain, Finance, HR, Manufacturing Field operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary interface between Customers's AI leadership, business stakeholders, and TCS AI ecosystem.
• Build executive relationships with CIO, CDO, CTO, Enterprise Architecture, Data & AI leaders.
• Advise customer leadership on AI strategy, GenAI adoption, Agentic AI, AI governance, and enterprise AI roadmaps.
• Act as a strategic consultant to identify business challenges that can be solved through AI-enabled solutions.
• Drive AI-led account growth through cross-sell and upsell initiatives.
• Translate customer requirements into AI solution concepts and transformation initiatives.
• Monitor emerging AI technologies and industry trends.
• Position TCS as a strategic innovation partnerby introducing new AI capabilities and solution offerings.
