Job summary

Robert Bosch Group in Farmington Hills, MI offers an AI Application Intern position for 8 months, 40 hours per week. You will work in Python to analyze code, build automation in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, and develop Power BI reports while exploring AI tools such as Copilot Studio and LangChain.

The internship requires enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters in Engineering, at least one semester completed, 18+ years old, and 35–40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university and pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, with at least one semester completed
• 1+ year academic or industry experience with software languages and operating systems.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
• Must work 35-40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Work within a Python development environment to analyze unfamiliar code, develop scripts that parse files and interact with APIs, and independently troubleshoot and debug existing software solutions.
• Design and develop automation solutions within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, leveraging tools such as Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Microsoft Graph API, VBA, and Office Scripts.
• Apply AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) and support automation initiatives using AI agents, RAG pipelines, and agentic frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or LangGraph.
• Develop Power BI reports and automation solutions to improve data accessibility, and support business decision‑making
• Create comprehensive technical documentation for developed tools and processes, and deliver user training to support successful adoption. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as a significant portion of this role involves explaining technical concepts and automation solutions to non-software engineers.
