AI Animator / Animation Tech Artist - Freelance Opportunity

We're an established film production and distribution company that produces live action and animated features. We are seeking an AI animator (or small team) to collaborate on animation projects by integrating AI tools into our production pipeline. We have one feature length animated movie to finish in 2025, and four more in 2026.

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience using AI animation tools (e.g., Runway, Pika, VEO3, Stable Diffusion for animation, ControlNet, EbSynth, After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, DaVinci or similar)
• Strong understanding of traditional animation principles and workflows
• Ability to blend AI-generated content with traditional animation techniques
• Portfolio demonstrating AI-assisted animation work
• Problem-solving skills to navigate the evolving AI animation landscape

Project scope:

We have a feature-length animated film currently in development for motion capture. We're open to exploring how AI can enhance our workflow (background generation, in-betweening, style consistency, effects, etc.) and mocap enhancement. We offer a collaborative approach with line producer oversight and a flexible remote work arrangement. Reference: ECNJOBID-138-94-216-32 in the application.
