Job summary

Transamerica is seeking a skilled professional to contribute to AI and data analytics initiatives within the internal audit department. You will deliver AI agents, automation, and analytics to improve audit delivery and operations, while partnering with the audit team as a trusted advisor.

The role supports analytics strategy, performance metrics, and training, and requires developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards to provide actionable insights across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
• Three years of experience in data analytics/artificial intelligence, process improvement or other relevant work.
• Basic understanding of audit principles or willingness to learn.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication and presentation skills for requirements gathering, team support, and delivery of analysis.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time and priorities to deliver on assignments and meet milestones.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a dynamic and complex environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver artificial intelligence and data analytics solutions to enhance internal audit delivery and operations through development of agents, workflow automation, and analytics.
• Manage relationships with the internal audit team and act as a trusted advisor in application of artificial intelligence and data analytics.
• Evolve the function through innovation projects to provide management and stakeholder insights while streamlining processes through use of artificial intelligence.
• Support Management in the development of data analytics and artificial intelligence strategies, objectives, and performance metrics.
• Identify opportunities and recommendations to enhance the audit function.
• Contribute to development and delivery of data analytics and artificial intelligence training.
• Develop and maintain department Power BI dashboards.
• Develop a general understanding of the business and systems within the organization.
• Comply with privacy, security, data quality, and other organizational governance requirements.
