Northrop Grumman is seeking a State Estimation and Tracking Engineer (Level 3/4) in Chandler, AZ. The role focuses on real-time software, Kalman filtering, and sensor fusion to support missile flight-code design and verification.

As a State Estimation and Tracking Engineer, you will develop and test real-time software, algorithms, and 6DOF simulation tools that support missile flight-code design and verification. You will apply Kalman filtering, signal and image processing, sensor fusion, and physics-based modeling to help systems detect, track, and predict hypersonic target trajectories. You will use C++, MATLAB, and Python to build analysis tools and evaluate EO/IR sensor performance, flight dynamics, and simulation results.
This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.
Travel up to 10% as needed to support program and customer requirements.
