AHA Instructor - Part Time

Job Summary: AHA Instructor plans, coordinates, and delivers AHA training programs for UMMC employees, students, and community members through the Resuscitation Training Center in accordance with AHA standards.

Education & Experience

High school diploma/GED.

Licenses or Registration Required

Current AHA BLS, ACLS, or PALS instructor certification required post-hire within thirty (30) days. Job applications may be accepted for candidates that currently meet the minimum qualifications or candidates actively pursuing the certifications, licenses, or registration requirements who will meet all minimum requirements within thirty (30) days. Minimum qualifications must be satisfied prior to starting work.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, training/instructional methods, techniques, and formats.
  • Interpersonal skills to interact with a wide range of constituencies.
  • Problem Resolution skills.
  • Ability to identify training/instructional needs.
  • Knowledge and ability to work with current technologies and general office applications (word, excel, basic computer functions, etc.).
Responsibilities
