KBR, Inc. in Fort Hood, Texas seeks an AH-64E Instructor Pilot to lead flight instruction and evaluation in a critical aviation program for U.S. Army and FMS partners.

You will help develop tactical scenarios and support gunnery, instrument training, and simulator instruction for joint, cross-domain training. Required are AH-64 Instructor Pilot and Instrument Flight Examiner courses, 2,000 MDS hours with 500 in AH-64E, 500 hours as Instructor Pilot, and a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of the U.S. Army AH-64 Instructor Pilot Course.
  • Graduate of the U.S. Army Instrument Flight Examiner Course.
  • 2000 Mission Design Series (MDS) with 500 hours in the AH-64E.
  • 500 flight hours as an AH-64 Instructor Pilot.
  • 500 Night Vision Device hours.
  • Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
  • FAA Medical Certificate Second Class and FAA Commercial Instrument Rotary Wing License.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Able to communicate succinctly with customer and client.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct flight instruction and evaluations in AH-64E aircraft.
  • Support individual and unit-level pilot training, RL progression, and gunnery.
  • Assist in developing and aligning training materials with doctrinal standards.
  • Provide simulator instruction, instrument training, and aerial gunnery support.
  • Coordinate and support aviation exercises.
  • Collaborate with FMS client’s S3 and Standardization Section on training execution.
  • Assist in technical writing of flight maneuver tasks and joint operations training.
  • Provide support for cargo and attack helicopter missions.
