Job summary

Responsibilities

• Support the Aviation System Assessment Program (ASAP) by scoring Army Aviation field data and integrating data into databases.
• Perform complex calculations and assess system concepts, specifications, and integration for proposed changes.
• Attend workshops and site visits to evaluate reliability and confirm findings.

AH-64D/E Apache Engineering Analyst II

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct Army Aviation maintenance analysis on U.S. Army AH-64D/E Apache aircraft by researching maintenance and testing records to identify root causes of poor performing components and recommend corrective actions. Data analyzed will be used at various stages of the life cycle, such as Materiel Solution Analysis, Production & Deployment, etc.
• Support the Aviation System Assessment Program (ASAP) by the scoring of Army Aviation field data, entering/integrating the data into various Army, DoD, and industry databases, conducting analyses of the data, and advancing ASAP technological capability. Perform site visit investigations on current Army operations and maintenance activities to various Army bases to confirm findings in the data.
• Must be able to perform complex calculations plus have knowledge of practices/principles necessary to assess systems concepts, specifications, and integration to include assessments of overall system impacts in evaluating proposed system changes (e.g., Engineering Change Proposals).
• May be required to attend workshops pertaining to system assessment to evaluate different methods of reliability assessment, and to perform site visit investigations on current Army operations and maintenance activities to various Army bases to confirm findings in the data.

Requirements:

• BS in Engineering and 3 years of task related experience or high school or equivalent and 6 years of task related experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• U.S. Army AH-64D/E Apache maintenance experience is a plus.
