Job summary

CHS Inc. invites applications for an Agronomy Sales/Operations Intern in Kindred, ND for Summer 2027. This hands-on internship offers the chance to work closely with customers, delivering agronomy expertise and exceptional service while gaining practical industry insight.

The internship can start as early as Spring, with potential for long-term growth. You will engage in crop scouting, soil sampling, problem solving, and reporting, while learning Agris for invoicing and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Ag Business, Crop Science, or other Agriculture related degree program.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Software.

Responsibilities

• Assist Agronomy Sales Representative with crop scouting, soil sampling, and field agronomic problem solving.
• Design, monitor, and summarize farm trials to provide information to customers and the agronomy team.
• Use integrated pest management techniques to determine treatment thresholds.
• Generate written reports and present findings to supervisor and/or customer.
• Learn features and benefits of all agronomy products and services, assist with over-the-counter sales and product delivery to customers.
• Learn to perform warehouse and agronomy plant operations.
• Learn and utilize Agris for invoicing and inventory management.
• Assist in inventory management procedures.
• Maintain equipment and facilities in compliance with policies.
• Support other departments as needed.
