Job summary

Mid Kansas Coop is seeking a supervisor for agronomy operations to oversee locations, manage staff of spray rig operators and tender truck drivers, and ensure safety, regulatory compliance and inventory controls.

The role includes supervising sales activities, coordinating with the Field Marketer, handling budgets, and completing special projects as assigned by the area manager. Expect regulatory training and ongoing performance evaluations.

Qualifications

• Oversee operational functions of the agronomy department at assigned locations, including spray rigs and tender trucks, work orders, operator training, spray quality and customer issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for supervising agronomy operations for assigned locations including agronomy sales, quality of application, maintenance on all agronomy equipment, control of all agronomy product inventory, and maintaining safety and regulatory compliance issues. This position provides management direction to a staff of spray rig operators and tender truck drivers. Completes special projects as assigned by area manager.
