Job summary

AGRILAND FS offers an internship program designed to develop future leaders with critical thinking, problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. This paid internship lasts 8-12 weeks and includes a two-day mid-summer conference plus networking with AGRILAND FS employees, management, and fellow interns.

Interns gain on-the-job experience with state-of-the-art equipment, delivering products to applicators, and assisting with storage/distribution of plant protection products.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a two-year or four-year education program beyond high school.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years old.
• Ability to work Spring or Summer full-time while on break from school.
• Good driving record.

Responsibilities

• On-the-job experience with specific training, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and technology.
• Delivery products to custom applicators in customer fields.
• Assist with plant protection product storage and distribution.
• Assist with post application of dry nitrogen.
• Help monitor weed control by scouting fields.
• Learn about agronomy products and how they are used.
