Job summary

NEW Cooperative is seeking a dependable driver/operator to manage fertilizer tender trucks and related tasks at our Iowa location. The role requires operating equipment safely, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring high levels of customer service during busy seasons.

The ideal candidate will hold a Class A CDL with tanker and HazMat endorsements, be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, and comply with DOT physical requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver’s license and insurability.
• CDL Class A with tanker and HazMat endorsement required.
• High school diploma or GED with related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate fertilizer tender trucks.
• Apply pre and post emerge crop protection products, dry and liquid fertilizer, and lime.
• Assist in loading and unloading of products based on work orders.
• Operate forklift/loader to move seed, chemical, fertilizer, etc.
• Maintain safety protocols and wear PPE.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other team members as needed.
