Job description

This position is responsible for daily operations of grain & agronomy at the Battle Creek, NE location. Responsibilities include loading/unloading of trucks with grain & agronomy products, ensuring high quality control of grain & fertilizer products, as well as maintenance & housekeeping of equipment and facilities. Other duties and assignment activities within the location consistent with the corporate objectives, purpose, and mission of the company.

Essential Duties
  • Maintenance & Housekeeping of grain & agronomy equipment
  • Reporting to location manager of grain operations, problems, and inventories
  • Monitoring and ensuring high quality grain condition in bins
  • Ensuring movement of grain to and from facility as directed by location and department manager
  • Loading/unloading of customer trucks and wagons with grain & agronomy products
  • Loading/unloading of company trucks with grain & agronomy products
  • Monitoring & reporting fertilizer & chemical inventory to location manager
  • Mowing, trimming, and general upkeep of facility and equipment
  • Load feed and oil products for customers
  • Operate forklift in warehouse
  • Deliver fertilizer and chemicals to floater operators
  • Operating company equipment as needed (payloader, bobcat, tractor, forklift)
Secondary Duties
  • Assist energy departments as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Education

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent Experience/Licenses/Certifications

Preferred
  • Preferred: 1-3 years Agricultural and/or mechanical experience
  • Equipment operation experience
  • Commercial Drivers License (Desired)
  • Developed communication and people skills
Work Environment/Activity Management

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. Position involves working in various temperatures primarily outdoors with some indoor work when necessary.
