Job summary

Crop Quest is seeking an Agronomist to join our Garden City, KS area team. You will support farmers with crop production decisions, providing timely fertilizer, seed, and chemical recommendations to maximize ROI.

Responsibilities include field monitoring for insects, weeds, and diseases; crop planning; water management; and precision ag data collection using geo-referenced software. A bachelor's in agriculture and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture or Related Field.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Field Monitoring for Insect, Weed & Disease.
• Utilize imagery tools.
• Ag Chemical, Fertilizer & Seed Recommendations.
• Crop Rotation and Fertility Management.
• Yield Analysis and Crop Budgeting.
• Soil Moisture Monitoring and Irrigation Scheduling.
• Record Field Data Using Geo-Referenced Software; Analyze Soil Texture, pH, OM; Grid & Zone Sampling; Variable-Rate Recommendations.
