Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent related experience.
  • 5+ years of MPCI underwriting experience with strong knowledge of procedures, handbooks, provisions, and resources.
  • Experience training, mentoring, developing employees, and supporting regional underwriting operations across teams.
  • Strong knowledge of MPCI underwriting procedures, crop insurance resources, operating systems, and workflows.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills with ability to influence outcomes and drive improvements.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.

The role serves as a national resource to help underwriting teams strengthen system proficiency, underwriting knowledge, process consistency, and adoption of national standards across all regions. This position also partners with Product Owners and System Support teams to support training, system enhancements, issue resolution, testing, and underwriting-related initiatives.**Location:** This position can be based out of our Lenexa KS, Topeka KS, Fargo ND, Batesville MS, our Lubbock TX office or remote.
