Southwestern High School in Illinois is seeking a qualified teacher to instruct general agriculture, ag industrial tech, and serve as co-FFA sponsor. Applicants must hold an ISBE teaching license or have 2,000+ hours of related work experience in general agriculture, welding, machining, or mechanics.

Salary is based on experience and education with a contract through the SEA salary matrix. Employee-only health insurance, district retirement (TRS), sick and personal days, and optional

Salary/Benefits

Salary is based on experience and education level; SEA contract with salary matrix can be found at https://www.piasabirds.net/public-documents/teacher-contract . Position includes employee-only health insurance benefit, district-paid TRS retirement, 13 paid sick days, 3 paid personal days. Dental, vision, optional life, and AFLAC products are available at employee's expense. Flex medical and dependent care plans are available.

Southwestern High School is located at the intersection of Rt. 111 and Hwy. 16 in Piasa, IL. Enrollment of approximately 367 students.
