Job summary

AGCO Corporation, Precision Planting division, seeks a hardware/software engineer to own the design, testing, and productionizing of products at Tremont, IL. You will develop and test control algorithms and validate proof-of-concept software on research equipment in the field.

Expect 5–10% U.S. travel; a on-site role with four days per week on-site collaboration. Competitive compensation with bonus eligibility within a dynamic precision agriculture team.

Qualifications

• Resolve field support issues using cutting-edge design, modeling, and rapid prototyping tools.
• Collaborate with in-house attorneys to draft patent applications for new inventions.
• Travel 5–10% in the U.S.; solid modeling of mechanical parts with Creo or similar tools.
• Prototyping techniques include 3D printing, machining, fabrication, instrumentation, and data analysis.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; eager to improve agriculture.
