Job summary

AgriVision Equipment Group and PrairieLand Partners is seeking a motivated Service Technician – Level 2 in Wichita, KS to diagnose, service, and repair customer and dealer-owned equipment. You will report to the Service Manager and apply knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to keep machines running.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, the ability to work with customers, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two+ years of service repairs experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Forklift license preferred or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs and maintenance using proper tools, techniques, and equipment for the machines the technician specializes in.
• Follows Technical Manual procedures when conducting maintenance and repairs.
• Seeks direction and guidance from the Service Manager or senior technicians as necessary.
• Maintains contact with customers about work performed on equipment.
• Participates in required training to advance skills and knowledge.
• Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
• Maintains vehicles, inventory, AVE-PLP tools, personal tools, and equipment in good working order.
• Follows safety rules and completes reports and forms as required.
