Responsibilities

• 1. Establish and implement classroom procedures designed to maximize student learning.
• 2. Prepare detailed weekly lesson plans consistent with Common Core objectives. Timely submit plans to assigned principal.
• 3. Prepare lessons consistent with written lesson plans and best education practices. Comply with all Individualized Education Plans.
• 4. Maintain a neat and orderly classroom, including the physical arrangement of the room, student records and materials.
• 6. Prepare and timely submit all required reports.
• 7. Attend and participate in all required meetings and conferences, including professional development and planning meetings.
• 8. Maintain complete and accurate student records, including attendance, performance and discipline records.
• 9. Provide professional and regular feedback to students and parents, ensuring compliance with all laws and district policies and procedures.
• 10. Regularly participate in appropriate professional development opportunities.
• 11. Utilise professional behavior in all school related interactions.
• 12. Comply with all federal, state and local laws and board policies and procedures.
• 13. Perform all other tasks as supervisor may assign.
