Job summary

Qualifications

• Full-time UPIKE student in good academic standing.
• Interest in biological sciences and research experience.
• Willingness to supervise and manage others.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain a clean and working research laboratory.
• Assist senior research personnel in prepping sterile substrates (agar, grain, etc…).
• Assist with the design and implementation of novel agriculture research projects.
• Inoculate, incubate, and harvest mushrooms and hydroponic vegetables.
• Oversee Biology Research Technician Work Study employees’ maintenance on hydroponic and mushroom cultivation units.
