Job summary

HonorVet Technologies seeks a motivated Loan Officer to originate agricultural operating lines of credit and manage a portfolio of ~40 customer relationships in Thomasville, GA. The role focuses on ag lending with additional support for real estate and equipment financing through funding partners.

Onsite work is required, with a strong emphasis on business development, relationship management, and cross-team coordination with Credit and Operations.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in agricultural sales and/or lending.
• Strong business development skills and the ability to identify and originate new lending opportunities.
• Experience with loan documentation, renewals, pricing discussions, and loan term negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships while managing a portfolio of approximately 40 accounts.
• Understand agricultural operating lines of credit and identify customers' financing needs.
• Monitor portfolio performance, customer utilization, and potential credit risks.
• Coordinate with Credit, Operations, and other internal teams to ensure timely renewals and quality customer service.
• Possess strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable managing customer relationships independently.
• Focus ~90% of sales efforts on originating agricultural operating lines of credit.
• Identify and support additional real estate and equipment financing opportunities through funding partners.
• Manage customer relationships, renewals, financial documentation, and ongoing portfolio performance.
• Maintain accurate customer records, sales pipelines, forecasts, and relationship updates.
• Support customer onboarding, retention, and effective use of client's customer portal.
