Qualifications

Six months minimum experience as agricultural equipment mechanic.
Able to diagnose and repair tractors, forklifts, irrigation systems and other machinery.
Ability to perform preventative maintenance and engine overhauls.
Proficient with diagnostic equipment and standard mechanic tools.
Valid driver's license and the ability to obtain within 30 days if needed.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair agricultural equipment including tractors, forklifts, harvest and irrigation equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing to minimize downtime.
Repair engines, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Read manuals and service bulletins to guide repairs.
Operate welding equipment and fabricate as needed.
Ensure safety and compliance with company policies.
