The Department of Animal Sciences' Equine Science Center is seeking an Agricultural Assistant II. This individual will be involved in the care of horses and assist with research data collection and other duties as assigned. The employee will perform routine maintenance on facilities and equipment and keep accurate records relating to expenditures, inventories, and maintenance logs.
7:00 A.M. – 4:0 0 P.M. (40 hrs per week)
Some weekends and evenings required for animal care and production of hay.
Requires work outdoors in inclement weather (heat, cold, rain, dust, pollen).
This position will be considered an essential personnel position in emergency situations.
$19.00 per hour
