Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in New London, CT, seeks a Scrum Master to coach a large agile team and advance our digital and agile transformation across ACE. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to foster an agile mindset, drive product delivery, and support continuous improvement.

You will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, mentor team members, maintain Jira/Confluence, and help align delivery with customer needs, ensuring a trusted, high-performing team culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or similar Agile leadership role.
• Scrum Master or PMI-ACP certification.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coach and empower teams to adopt Agile values and practices.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, demos, reviews, retrospectives).
• Foster cross-functional collaboration and engage key stakeholders.
• Maintain Jira/Confluence and other artifacts to support transparency.
• Identify and remove impediments to delivery and continuous improvement.
• Promote a continuous improvement mindset and MVP thinking.
• Support program and release planning and alignment with customer needs.
