Zantech, a Woman Owned Small Business, seeks an experienced Agile Project Manager to lead an upcoming transformation project in the Washington DC Metro Area. This hybrid role requires deep program management and DoD governance expertise to drive delivery and compliance.

The role leverages PMBOK and Agile practices, supporting BCAC/ACAT processes, coordinating with stakeholders and senior leaders, and ensuring disciplined execution under DoD directives.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide support with program office management and all activities related to project management.
• Advise on management, operations, and control of programs and projects; provide advisory support for new programs.
• Support major acquisition programs including BCAC and ACAT processes.
• Implement key disciplines and methodologies necessary for programs/projects.
• Provide PMO governance support: planning, scheduling, briefing materials, meetings, notes, and publishing.
• Interact with staff and senior leaders to ensure governance execution.
• Produce analyses and reports guiding actions and interpreting results.
• Translate stakeholder needs into statements assessing requirements.
• Evaluate procedures, processes, techniques, models related to project issues.
• Communicate recommendations to staff and leadership to support strategic plans.
• Follow DoDD 5000.01, DoDI 5000.02, and related DoD policies.

Zantech is looking for a talented Agile Project manager to contribute to the success of our upcoming Agile Transformation project for an Hybridrole based out of the Washington DC Metro Area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support with tasks associated with program office management and all activities associated with program and project management
• Provide advice and recommendations on the management, operations, and control of existing programs and projects, and advisory support of new programs and projects
• Support program management required for major acquisition programs including Business Capability Acquisition Cycle (BCAC) and Software Acquisition Pathway, Acquisition Category (ACAT)
• Implement key disciplines and methodologies necessary for programs/projects
• Provide Project Management Support to Governance with planning, scheduling, compiling briefing materials, meeting management, note taking, editing, and publishing
• Interact with staff and senior leaders across the agency to ensure efficient and effective execution of the governance process
• Provide studies, analyses, scenarios, and reports that advise the best actions as well as interpreting results
• Apply mission level thinking for current and emerging projects/programs, and translate stakeholder needs and expectations into statements assessing requirements
• Perform complex evaluations of existing procedures, processes, techniques, models and/or systems related to project/program issues
• Analyze information from multiple sources to compile complete and holistic solutions
• Communicate recommendations and issues to staff and senior leadership that support the overall strategic plan
• Execute duties guided by DoDD 5000.01, DoDI 5000.02, DoD Issuances governing acquisition programs, and other program management policies addressed in DoD 5000 and 8000 series

Years Experience Required: 10-15 years (minimum 5 years in each required competency area)

Skills Required:

• Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)
• Agile Frameworks including user stories, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog management, prioritizing tasks, and adapting to changing requirements
• DoD Acquisition Framework and Process Improvement Methodologies
• Program/Project Management documentation (project management plan, work breakdown structure, risk management plan, project schedule, meeting agendas, meeting minutes)
• DoD Software Development Project and Program Management
• ServiceNow (1-2 years minimum)
• Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, Project, Access)
• Adobe Suite (Acrobat Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, PageMaker, Premier)
• SharePoint and task management systems
• Multitasking and managing multiple concurrent projects
• Stakeholder engagement and communication at all organizational levels

Required Security Clearance:

• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret or higher clearance, per contract requirements.
