Job summary

Toyota's Internal Audit Department is seeking a passionate Internal Audit Consultant to perform and lead assurance and advisory engagements that evaluate governance, risk management, business processes, and internal controls. This role can be based at our Plano, Texas; York, Michigan; or Georgetown, Kentucky locations, with relocation not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant education and experience.
• Progressively responsible experience in internal audit, compliance, or risk management.
• Ability to independently lead projects or engagements and coach others.
• Strong analytical, judgment, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel ~15%.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex operational and compliance assurance engagements.
• Assess risks, control design, and residual risk using approved methods.
• Plan and execute interviews, walkthroughs, testing, and evidence collection.
• Lead engagements as Scrum Master when assigned and coordinate teams.
• Develop clear findings and communicate to management and governance.
