Job summary

DigiFlight, Inc. is seeking an Agile Developer Level 2- TS/SCI for Fort Meade, MD to modernize a legacy system with microservices. The role requires an active Top Secret clearance with CI polygraph within the last 7 years and on-call rotation.

You will write Java Spring Boot microservices, design REST APIs, and implement CI/CD using Maven, GitLab, and GitOps in an Agile environment. Candidates should have a BS degree or equivalent and 6 years of related experience, or a Master's with 4 years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related discipline; 6 years of relevant experience or Master’s with 4 years.
• Active Top Secret clearance with CI polygraph within last 7 years.
• Experience writing Java/Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Write Java Spring Boot microservice applications using AWS native technologies.
• Build REST services with Spring to filter and select complex data objects.
• Implement CI/CD using Maven, GitLab and GitOps.
• Participate in Agile software development and delivery.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Active Top-Secret SCI with FSP Poly

Modernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. The Microservices Developer will be responsible for:

• Writing java spring boot based micro service applications utilizing AWS native technologies
• Building REST services with Spring able to filter and select complex data objects
• Implement CI/CD principals utilizing Maven, Gitlab and GitOps
• Agile development and delivery of software
• Communication and collaboration: Software Development is a team-oriented discipline. Engineers need to be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• 6 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree plus 4 years of relevant experience.
• An active Top Secret clearance with CI polygraph within the last 7 years.

***Ability to support an on-call rotation

Desired skills (2 of the below):

• Java, Spring boot or python
• Database : NoSQL / MongoDB Query and Schema Design
• Test frameworks and automation to include Playwright and Cucumber
