Job summary

B.H. Inc. is seeking a full-time Aggregates and Paving Estimator to prepare comprehensive cost estimates for base and paving projects, including takeoffs and pricing for base layers and asphalt paving.

The role may be based in North Salt Lake or Ogden, Utah, offering strong team culture and career growth. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of Aggregates and Paving estimating experience, a related degree or equivalent experience, and proficiency with estimating software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering or similar field, or equivalent construction experience.
• 3-5 years of previous Aggregates and Paving estimating experience is required
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, and owners.
• Ready to learn estimating processes including bid invitations, takeoffs, estimating software, plan and specification review.
• Experience with Excel, Word, Bluebeam, Planswift, TBC, Agtek and Estimate(B2W).

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for base and paving projects.
• Conduct takeoffs and pricing for base layers, asphalt paving, and related tasks.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and owners to ensure accurate bids.
• Learn and apply estimating processes including bid invitations and software tools.
