Job summary

Titan Florida, LLC Pennsuco Aggregates Division in Medley, FL is seeking an Equipment Operator for the Aggregates Loadout Department, reporting to the Shipping Manager. This wage non-exempt role involves loading trucks and trains, operating heavy equipment, and coordinating with weighmasters and the loadout team.

Candidates should be safety minded, able to follow instructions, and capable of lifting 50 lbs.

Qualifications

Safety-minded and able to follow safety rules.
Ability to speak, read and write English.
Basic knowledge of material specifications preferred.
Knowledge of equipment operation (dozer and front-end loader) preferred.
Ability to understand and follow instructions and carry out repair orders.
Must lift 50 lbs.
Maintain a clean driving record.
Team player capable of working with others.
Able to work in confined spaces.
High School diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Perform safety checks and follow safety rules.
Operate WA600/WA500 front-end loaders to load trucks and trains.
Operate a rubber tire dozer.
Communicate with weighmasters, loadout manager, trail scale and loadout lead man.
Work with lead man on loadout and plant tasks.
Move finished products as needed.
Push material to feeders for aggregates production.
Maintain communication with plant tower and loadout operators.
Will train to operate other equipment and perform duties as assigned.
