Job summary

Cemex USA offers an immersive 10-week Aggregate Internship Development Program for current college students, starting in May each year, to gain hands-on exposure to Mine Planning, Process Improvements, Quality and Reliability, Inventory Maintenance, and Data Management. Interns will join a full-time, on-site team in Davenport, FL and engage in safety-focused, project-based experiences.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with junior standing, maintain a GPA 2.5+

Qualifications

• Active pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Geology, or related field, with at least junior year standing.
• GPA 2.5+; preference for 3.0+.
• Leadership and proactive problem-solving demonstrated.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities; ability to present ideas clearly.
• Technical proficiency from internships, co-op programs, or university projects.
• Team collaboration: enjoys both independent work and teamwork.
