bet365 is seeking an AgentOps Tech Lead to serve as the senior technical authority for the new AgentOps team. You will mentor engineers, set technical standards, and guide architectural design to deliver robust AI agents and workflows.

You will establish best practices for architecture, development, testing, and deployment, ensuring scalable, secure solutions aligned with business needs and IT strategy.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a senior engineering role such as Senior Software Developer, Senior Automation Engineer, or a similar capacity.
• Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of software architecture patterns, design principles, and data structures.
• Demonstrated experience mentoring engineers, conducting constructive code reviews, and leading technical discussions.
• Excellent ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Advanced analytical and critical-thinking skills, with a talent for diagnosing and resolving difficult technical challenges.

Job Description

As an AgentOps Tech Lead, you will be the senior technical authority for our new AgentOps team.

The AgentOps department empowers Business functions through the strategic design, development, deployment, and lifecycle management of advanced AI-powered solutions.Our main objective is to deliver significant improvements in operational efficiency and foster a culture of innovation, delivering seamless integration and orchestration with wider Business systems

We are looking for an individual with a blend of deep technical expertise, a passion for mentoring, and a commitment to driving technical excellence. You will be the team's lead engineer, responsible for mentoring other engineers, setting technical standards, guiding architectural design and ensuring the delivery of robust, scalable, and secure AI agents and workflows.

The listed salary for this position is$150,000 - $160,000 annually.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in a senior engineering role such as Senior Software Developer, Senior Automation Engineer, or a similar capacity.

• Expert-level programming skills and a proven track record of designing and building complex, scalable software solutions.

Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of software architecture patterns, design principles, and data structures.

Demonstrated experience mentoring engineers, conducting constructive code reviews, and leading technical discussions.

Excellent ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Advanced analytical and critical-thinking skills, with a talent for diagnosing and resolving difficult technical challenges.

Additional Information

Leading the technical design, architecture, and implementation of complex AI and automation solutions using internal and third party platforms.

Acting as a mentor and technical guide for the AI Engineers, supporting their growth through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.

Serving as the most senior "builder" on the team, tackling the most complex development tasks and setting the standard for code quality and innovation.

Establishing and enforcing best practices for solution architecture, development, testing, and deployment to ensure consistency and quality.

Making key architectural decisions to ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and secure, aligning with both business and IT strategies.

Acting as the primary escalation point for the most challenging technical issues, leading the debugging and resolution efforts.

Partnering closely with the AgentOps Team Leader to translate strategic goals into actionable technical roadmaps and specifications.

Researching, evaluating, and championing emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies to continuously enhance the team's capabilities in collaboration with the Innovation Team.
