APPIT Software Solutions is hiring a Agentic AI Engineer (LLM & Autonomous Systems) in Austin, USA. Architect and build autonomous AI systems at APPIT Software, designing production-grade agentic workflows that leverage LLMs for complex reasoning, planning, and tool execution at enterprise scale.

Responsibilities

• Architect production-grade agentic AI systems with complex reasoning capabilities
• Design multi-agent collaboration frameworks for distributed task execution
• Build robust tool-calling infrastructure with error handling and retry mechanisms
• Implement advanced memory architectures including episodic, semantic, and procedural memory
• Develop monitoring and observability systems for agent behavior in production
• Lead research into novel agentic AI patterns and autonomous decision-making frameworks

Requirements

• 5+ years of ML engineering with 2+ years building agentic AI systems
• Expert-level knowledge of LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, or similar agent frameworks
• Deep understanding of LLM capabilities, limitations, and failure modes
• Experience designing and deploying autonomous systems in production environments
• Strong background in distributed systems and microservices architecture
• Proven ability to work independently and drive technical initiatives remotely

Nice to Have

• Experience with cognitive architectures (ACT-R, SOAR concepts)
• Knowledge of formal verification methods for AI systems
• Contributions to open-source agentic AI projects
