Job summary

Deloitte is building an AI-first healthcare decisioning platform. As an Agentic AI Engineer, you will design, build, and operate the LLM- and SLM-powered systems behind real healthcare decisioning—from clinical reasoning to prior authorization and claims integrity—across payers, providers, and life sciences.

You will own agent systems end to end, from architecture through production, with domain experts and a strong emphasis on reliability, grounding, and safety in high-stakes healthcare

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Computational Linguistics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement agentic systems capable of multi-step reasoning, planning, tool use, and workflow execution against complex, regulated operational processes.
• Engineer for long-horizon reliability - multi-step task completion, recovery from errors, planning under uncertainty.
• Build the reasoning behind regulated decisions with auditable rationales across healthcare domains.
