Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a highly skilled Business & Data Analyst to join our IOA practice in Dallas, TX. You will design and deploy AI-driven solutions, collaborating with business analysts to translate client requirements into scalable AI/ML applications using Python, LangChain, and cloud platforms.

The role offers a competitive salary and benefits, with a start date targeted for October/November 2026 or January/February 2027. Willingness to relocate to the Dallas area and work on-site is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data science, AI or related field
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Hands-on experience with at least one cloud AI platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Proficiency in Python; experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar agentic frameworks preferred
• Experience with data engineering tools (Spark, Airflow, Kafka) and ML frameworks (PyTorch, Scikit-learn) is a plus
• Comfortable working across cloud and on-prem environments and in a fast-moving AI landscape

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy full-stack AI applications using Python, LangChain, LangGraph, RAG pipelines, AutoGen, CrewAI, and Semantic Kernel
• Deploy agentic AI solutions across cloud platforms (AWS Bedrock, GCP Vertex AI, Azure AI)
• Develop and maintain data pipelines (Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Spark, Airflow, Kafka)
• Apply ML and NLG techniques using PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and R; deploy models via Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, or Vertex AI
• Work with large-scale data platforms (Azure Synapse, Databricks SQL) to support training and analytics
• Collaborate with business analysts to translate client requirements into scalable AI/ML solutions
• Stay current with evolving AI frameworks, cloud-native tools, and agentic architectures
