Base pay range

$55,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr

Job Summary

The Agent Payment Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and transparency of commission and bonus payments for our agent network. This position oversees all payment-related programs, prepares weekly reports, maintains comprehensive payment archives, and serves as the primary point of contact for agent inquiries. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate across teams to improve and streamline payment processes.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze weekly payment reports, ensuring precision and consistency.
  • Track and validate incoming commissions and related transactions.
  • Audit third-party payment processing reports to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform complex calculations involving proprietary systems and policy values.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of program rules and regulations to effectively support agents.
  • Research and resolve discrepancies in files, records, and commission data.
  • Reconcile weekly and monthly payment balances and collaborate with Accounts Receivable to resolve outstanding items.
  • Partner with internal teams, including Payroll and Accounting, to ensure smooth payment processing.
  • Interpret and communicate agent performance data to address program-related questions.
  • Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound communications with accuracy and professionalism.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors or Associate degree with proven experience in customer service and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical ability to review and interpret commission records and payment data. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a professional and service-oriented approach.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency and strong command of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven time management and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer service mindset with experience supporting internal or external stakeholders.
  • Strong aptitude for problem-solving and cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and proactive in driving tasks to completion.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
