Job summary

New York Life is seeking a Service Representative in Jacksonville to help onboard new agents and manage contracting so they can begin selling our life insurance products. You will ensure a smooth onboarding process and maintain strong support for Partners throughout the contracting workflow.

In this hybrid role, you will handle data entry, communications, and documentation with attention to detail, while collaborating with the Managing Partner and other office staff to meet SLAs and deliver

  • Meticulous data entry and document review; audit-ready attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams); quick to learn new systems.
  • Strong organization and time management; able to prioritize and meet SLAs.
  • Discretion with sensitive information; compliance-first mindset.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree
  • Experience in insurance/financial services, licensing/contracting, or new agent onboarding
  • Familiarity with background checks/fingerprinting workflows and basic FCRA concepts

Role Overview

Our local General Office is seeking a customer service professional to support our agents and management team. As a Service Representative, you'll work with our Partners to onboard new agents - overseeing the contracting process so they can begin selling New York Life insurance. You will be a steward of the onboarding process - assisting with turning candidates into ready-to-sell agents and keeping everything running smoothly for our Partners.

This position currently follows a 4/1 schedule, with four days in the office and one day remote. This schedule may change to five days in the office based on business needs.

Training & Development

Customer Service Representatives receive on-the-job training to learn about the insurance industry, product and policy provisions, and transaction processing. Coaching and feedback are provided to help you gain the necessary skills to be successful.

Pay Transparency


  • Salary Range: $43,000-$47,500

  • Overtime eligible: Nonexempt

  • Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes

  • Sales bonus eligible: No

  • Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
