Role Overview:
Our local General Office is seeking a customer service professional to support our agents and management team. As a Service Representative,you’llwork with our Partners to onboard new agents—overseeing the contracting process so they can begin selling New York Life insurance. You will be a steward of the onboarding process—assistingwith turning candidates into ready-to-sell agents and keeping everything running smoothly for our Partners.
WhatYou’llDo:
Perform tasks in the contracting system to advance contracts alonginthe process.
Track background-check and fingerprint results; follow up with Partners; escape issues as needed.
Review onboarding paperwork for completeness and accuracy; resolve data or documentation gaps.
Communicate with Partners to provide candidate status updates and answer questions
Process forms to ensure agents are integrated in our systems correctly
Assistwith in-person administrative responsibilities to provide the supportrequiredofthe Managing Partner within the General Office such as phoneassistance,calendaringand executive correspondence.
This position currently follows a 4/1 schedule, with four days in the office and one day remote. This schedule may change to five days in the office based on business needs.

Required Skills:
Experience ina customerservice and/or office administration
Clear, professional communication (phone and email) and strong stakeholder service
Meticulous data entry and document review; audit-ready attention to detail
Proficiencywith Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams); quick to learn new systems
Strong organization and time management; able to prioritize and meet SLAs
Discretion with sensitive information; compliance-first mindset
Preferred Skills:
Associate or bachelor’s degree
Experience in insurance/financial services, licensing/contracting, or new agent onboarding
Familiarity with background checks/fingerprinting workflows and basic FCRA concepts
Training & Development
Customer Service Representatives receive on-the-job training to learn about the insurance industry, product and policy provisions, and transaction processing. Coaching and feedback are provided to help you gain the necessary skills to be successful.

Pay Transparency
Salary Range:$43,000-$47,500

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
