Job summary

Apex Fintech Solutions is seeking an experienced Agency Trader to join our Dallas trading desk, where precision, regulatory rigor, and strong client relationships drive execution across equities, options, fixed income, and currencies. Hybrid, with hours aligned to U.S.

market times, the role requires 3–5+ years of trading experience, SIE, Series 7, and Series 63; Series 57 must be obtained within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

3–5+ years of trading experience, with exposure to equities, options, fixed income, or currencies.
Knowledge of market structure and regulatory frameworks across asset classes.
Familiarity with CAT, TRACE, and MSRB reporting for fixed income (municipals).
Experience with trading operations and trade lifecycle management.
Strong problem-solving and time-pressure resilience.
Experience with order/execution management systems and algorithmic trading tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to explain complex topics clearly.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced desk environment.

Responsibilities

Trade Execution: execute client and firm orders across assets with compliance.
Trade Issue Resolution: identify and resolve trade errors quickly.
Risk Management: monitor exposure and apply mitigation strategies.
Reporting and Compliance: maintain accurate trade records and regulatory reporting.
